Why Choose Us
Why Choose Glover Bros?
We've been supplying the trade since 1899. That's not something we mention to show off. It's a reflection of why we're still here: because we've always put our trade customers first, and we've kept earning their trust.
A Trade-First Business, Always
Glover Bros has operated as a wholesale trade supplier for over 125 years. We don't sell to the public. Every decision we make, from the products we stock to the way we operate, is shaped by what working professionals actually need.
We supply upholsterers, furniture manufacturers and restorers, soft furnishings workrooms, and interior trade professionals across the UK.
2,000+ Products, All in One Place
Our catalogue covers the full breadth of upholstery and soft furnishing supplies:
How to Place an Order
Once your account is live, you can order by phone, email, or through our website. We confirm every order, so if you don't hear back from us within a few hours, please check we've received it.
Fast Dispatch, Reliable Delivery
We dispatch Monday to Friday from our depot in Bishops Lydeard, Somerset. We run our own van routes across Southwest England and Wales, and use next-day carrier delivery for the rest of the UK. Order before noon the day prior to delivery and we'll do our best to get your goods out on time.
Trusted Brands
We stock leading trade names including Tacwise, YKK, Pirelli, Leggett & Platt, 3M, Silent Gliss, Swish, Agora Fabrics, Agua Fabrics, and Rioma Fabric.

Genuine Trade Pricing
Because we work exclusively with the trade, our pricing reflects that. No retail mark-ups. Once your account is active, you'll have access to our full price list across all 2,000+ product lines at wholesale rates, exclusive of VAT.
Real People, Real Support
We're a family-run business, not a call centre. When you call or email, you'll speak to someone who knows the products and can give you a straight answer. We're also members of the Association of Master Upholsterers (AMU), reflecting our commitment to quality and professionalism across the trade.
A Little Extra
We list upholstery courses for customers who want to develop their skills, keep a clearance section with reduced-price end-of-line and short-run stock, and offer practical guides in our Advice Hub
