Glover Bros has been a trade-only supplier since 1899. A trade account gives you access to over 2,000 products at genuine wholesale prices, with fast UK dispatch and personal service from a team that knows its stock.
We aim to approve all applications within one working day.
Who can Apply
Trade accounts are open to professionals working in upholstery, furniture making, and soft furnishings. This includes:
- Professional upholsterers and re-upholsterers
- Furniture manufacturers and restorers
- Soft furnishings workrooms
- Interior designers sourcing materials for trade projects
- Educators running upholstery or soft furnishings courses
We ask that you show us evidence you're working in the trade. A website, a Yell.com listing, or a trade advertisement is all we need.

Do I need a trade account to order?
Yes. Glover Bros is a trade-only supplier. We ask all new customers to show evidence that they work in upholstery or soft furnishings, such as a website, a Yell.com listing, or a trade advertisement. Once verified, your account is set up and you can order straight away.
How do I open a trade account?
Fill in the short application form on our Trade Account page. We’ll review your details and be in touch within one working day. If you’d prefer to speak to someone first, call us on 01823 431910 or email orders@gloverbros.co.uk.
Is there a minimum order value?
No. There is no minimum order value. For van delivery orders under £40 net, a £7.50 delivery charge applies. For carrier delivery orders under £160 net, a £14.95 charge applies.
Can foam be cut to a specific size?
Yes. We offer foam cut to size as well as foam sheets for customers who prefer to cut themselves. Please note that foam cut to a custom size cannot be returned once cut.
Can I order fabric by the metre?
Yes. Fabric is sold by the metre or as full rolls depending on the product. If you’re not sure of the minimum cut for a particular fabric, contact us before ordering and we’ll confirm.
Do you sell to the public?
No. Glover Bros supplies the trade only. If you’re a retail customer looking for upholstery materials, please visit discoverupholstery.co.uk.
What is the cut-off time for same-day dispatch?
Order before noon the day prior to your delivery day and we’ll do our best to despatch on time. We also try to accommodate last-minute orders where possible, so if you’re up against it, call us and we’ll see what we can do.

Do you deliver outside of Southwest England?
Yes. We run our own vans across Southwest England and Wales, and use a next-day carrier service for the rest of the UK. Free carrier delivery applies to orders over £160 net. For the Grampians, Highlands, and offshore islands, please contact us for a delivery quote.

We stock a range of trusted trade brands including Tacwise, YKK, Pirelli, Leggett & Platt, 3M, Silent Gliss, Swish, Agora Fabrics, Agua Fabrics, and Rioma Fabric, among others.
