These UK36 2-piece button dies are sold as a complete set and are designed for use with a button covering machine to create professional, fabric-covered buttons in size 36 (approximately 22mm). Whether you’re a seasoned upholsterer or a crafty home enthusiast, having the right dies makes all the difference when it comes to achieving a neat, consistent finish every time.
Button dies work in pairs — one die cuts and shapes the fabric, while the other forms and closes the button back securely in place. This set is compatible with standard button covering machines that accept UK-sized dies, making them a practical addition to any upholstery or soft furnishing toolkit. They’re ideal for crafting buttons used on headboards, footstools, dining chairs, cushions, and a wide range of soft furnishing projects.
If you regularly cover buttons in bulk for trade work, or simply want to expand your range of button sizes at home, picking up a spare set of dies means you can switch between sizes quickly and keep projects moving. Please note that these are the dies only — button parts are sold separately here at Glover Bros.
Deliveries within our van delivery area with a value of over £40 (net) are carried free of charge. Below that level we make a token charge of £7.50 (net). If you miss your van delivery day and you want it sent by carrier, the charge is £14.95 (net).
Deliveries outside our van delivery area with a value of over £160 (net) are sent free of charge using a Next Day service. For orders below that level we charge what the carrier charges us which at present is £14.95 (net) for up to 20 kg in England, Wales and most of Scotland. (For Grampians, Highlands and off-shore islands please ask us to quote). We use first class post for small items and charge for the stamp and the jiffy bag.
