Rotatable Glides Peg Socket - C5

The Rotatable Glides Peg/Socket (C5) is a practical and hardwearing furniture fitting designed to protect both your floors and your furniture legs. Featuring a peg-and-socket design, these glides fit securely into the base of chair and table legs, while the rotating head allows the glide to move freely with the furniture — reducing drag, preventing scratching, and ensuring a smooth, quiet glide across all floor types including hardwood, laminate, and tile.

The rotating action is what sets these glides apart from standard fixed fittings. As furniture is pushed, pulled, or shifted, the glide automatically adjusts its angle to maintain full contact with the floor. This not only protects your flooring from scuffs and marks but also helps extend the life of the fitting itself by distributing wear evenly. Ideal for dining chairs, occasional chairs, and light tables used in both domestic and commercial settings.

These glides are sold individually, so you can order exactly the quantity you need — whether you’re fitting out a single chair or restocking your workshop supplies. A reliable, no-fuss solution that’s popular with upholsterers, furniture restorers, and DIY enthusiasts alike. Simply press the peg into a pre-drilled or existing socket hole for a secure, long-lasting fit.
