Strand Gimp is a classic upholstery trimming with a distinctive twisted, rope-like appearance, perfect for adding a neat and decorative finish to a wide range of furniture projects. It is most commonly used to cover tack lines and raw edges on traditionally upholstered pieces such as sofas, armchairs, ottomans and headboards, giving your work a clean, professional look that clients will love.
This versatile trimming can be applied using a hot glue gun or fabric adhesive, making it a favourite with both trade upholsterers and enthusiastic DIYers alike. Its flexible construction allows it to follow curves and contours with ease, ensuring a smooth and seamless finish even on more complex shapes. Strand Gimp is an ideal choice wherever a tidy, attractive edge is needed.
