Sold As: 25m
Strand Gimp is a classic upholstery trimming used to neaten and decorate the edges of fabric panels, cushions, headboards, and traditional furniture. It provides a neat, professional finish by covering tacks, staples, and raw fabric edges, giving your projects a polished, high-quality look. Suitable for both traditional and contemporary upholstery work, it’s a go-to choice for trade professionals and enthusiastic home crafters alike.
This gimp features a twisted strand construction that adds an elegant textural detail wherever it’s applied. It can be fixed using gimp pins or adhesive, making it straightforward to work with even for those newer to upholstery. Whether you’re restoring a period piece or adding a finishing touch to a modern project, Strand Gimp delivers a reliable and attractive result every time.
This product is sold as a 25m roll, giving you a generous length to work with across multiple projects or larger furniture pieces. Please check our full range of trimmings for coordinating braids, fringes, and other decorative finishes available at Glover Bros.
