Strand Gimp is a classic upholstery trimming with a neat, twisted cord appearance that adds a polished, decorative finish to furniture and soft furnishings. Widely used by upholsterers and interior designers, it’s perfect for concealing tack lines, raw edges, and seams on chairs, sofas, headboards, and curtain pelmets, giving your work a truly professional look.
Available in a generous range of colours, Strand Gimp is easy to apply with a hot glue gun or fabric adhesive and sits flat for a clean, tidy result. Whether you’re a trade professional working through a batch of reupholstery projects or a home crafter giving a favourite chair a new lease of life, this versatile trimming is an essential addition to your toolkit.
Strand Gimp is sold per metre with a minimum order of 3 metres, so you can order exactly what you need for your project. Simply enter your required quantity at checkout and we’ll cut it fresh for you.
