Strand Gimp is a classic upholstery trimming with a twisted, rope-like appearance that adds a neat and decorative finish to a wide range of soft furnishing and upholstery projects. It is commonly used to cover tack lines and raw edges on chairs, sofas, headboards, and cushions, giving your work a clean, professional look. Whether you’re a trade upholsterer finishing a commission or a home crafter adding a decorative touch, Strand Gimp is a versatile and reliable choice.
This Strand Gimp in shade 34CRD is sold as a generous 25-metre roll, giving you plenty of trimming for larger projects or multiple pieces. It can be applied easily using gimp pins or a suitable adhesive, making it a favourite with both seasoned professionals and beginners alike. Its textured, woven construction helps it sit neatly along curves and straight edges without puckering, ensuring a tidy result every time.
At Glover Bros, we stock a wide range of gimp trimmings to suit every project and style. If you need help choosing the right trimming or matching other products, our team is always happy to help.
