Sold As: 25m
Strand Gimp is a classic upholstery trimming with a neat, corded appearance that adds a beautifully finished edge to a wide range of furniture projects. Whether you’re covering tack lines on a traditional armchair, tidying the borders of a drop-in seat pad, or adding a decorative flourish to soft furnishings, this versatile gimp is an essential tool of the trade.
This listing is for a generous 25-metre roll, making it ideal for both trade upholsterers working across multiple projects and home crafters tackling bigger jobs. The cord-style construction gives a defined, structured look that pairs well with both traditional and contemporary upholstery styles, and it can be applied neatly using gimp pins or fabric adhesive.
At Glover Bros, we stock Strand Gimp in a range of colours to suit all manner of fabric palettes and interior schemes — so whether you’re restoring a period piece or giving a modern sofa a stylish update, you’re sure to find a shade that works. Sold as a 25m roll, this is great value for any upholstery toolkit.
