Strand Gimp is a classic upholstery trimming used to neaten and decorate finished edges on furniture, giving your work a polished, professional look. Whether you’re covering tack lines on a traditional armchair, adding a decorative border to a headboard, or finishing off a footstool, this versatile braid is a staple in any upholsterer’s toolkit.
This gimp features a neat, woven strand construction that sits flat and applies easily with gimp pins or adhesive. Its tidy finish makes light work of hiding raw edges and fixings, making it equally popular with trade upholsterers and enthusiastic DIYers alike. Each roll contains 25 metres, giving you plenty of trimming for multiple projects or larger pieces of furniture.
Available in a range of colours to complement your fabric choices, Strand Gimp is a simple, effective way to elevate the finish of any upholstery project. Stock up with a 25m roll and keep your work looking its very best from every angle.
