Split prong buttons are a tried and trusted choice for upholstery work, offering a secure and easy-to-use fastening solution for attaching fabric-covered button tops to your projects. The split prong design allows the metal back to be pushed through fabric or webbing and then bent outward to lock firmly in place — no specialist tools required, just a simple push and spread action that saves you time on the job.
These button backs are compatible with standard No. 30 (19mm metric) button covering moulds and are ideal for use in traditional and contemporary upholstery, soft furnishings, headboards, cushions, and decorative tufting work. Whether you’re a professional upholsterer working through high volumes or a home crafter tackling a weekend project, split prong backs deliver reliable results every time.
Sold as backs only in a generous pack of 1,000 pieces, this bulk quantity is perfectly suited to trade professionals who need a consistent supply on hand, as well as enthusiastic hobbyists who want great value for money. Stock up and keep your workshop or craft room ready for any project that comes your way.
