Sold As: 33m
Quill Gimp is a classic decorative trimming used in upholstery and soft furnishings to neatly cover tack lines, staples, and raw edges, giving your finished piece a polished, professional look. With its distinctive looped, quill-like texture, it adds a subtle yet elegant decorative detail to chairs, headboards, footstools, pelmets, and more. It’s a go-to choice for both trade upholsterers and home crafters looking to achieve that quality finish.
This Quill Gimp is sold as a generous 33-metre roll, making it ideal for larger projects or for keeping a reliable stock to hand in your workshop. It can be applied using gimp pins or fabric adhesive, and its flexible construction means it follows curves and corners with ease. Whether you’re restoring a period piece or adding the finishing touch to a contemporary design, Quill Gimp delivers both practicality and style in one neat package.
