Quill Gimp is a classic decorative trimming with a distinctive feathered or spine-like texture that adds an elegant finishing touch to upholstered furniture, cushions, curtains, and soft furnishings. Its structured design makes it ideal for concealing staples, tacks, and raw edges, giving your projects a neat, professional appearance that really elevates the final look.
Popular with both trade upholsterers and home crafters alike, Quill Gimp is versatile enough to work on traditional and contemporary pieces. Whether you’re restoring a period chair, adding detail to a headboard, or trimming cushion borders, it’s a simple and effective way to achieve a polished, high-quality finish. It can be easily applied using gimp pins or fabric adhesive.
Sold by the metre with a minimum order of 3 metres, this trimming is a practical and cost-effective choice for projects of all sizes. Simply select the quantity you need and we’ll cut it fresh for you. If you’re working on a larger project, ordering a generous amount ensures a consistent dye lot throughout.
