Our Mesh Top Spring Units are a reliable and versatile choice for upholstery projects where a comfortable, supportive seat base is essential. Featuring a traditional coil spring construction with a welded mesh top, these units provide even weight distribution and long-lasting resilience — making them a popular choice for chair and sofa re-upholstery, as well as new furniture builds.
These spring units are sold as a pair (57/56), giving you everything you need to tackle two seats in one go — ideal for armchairs, dining chairs, or matching furniture sets. The mesh top makes fixing and tying off easier, saving time during installation and ensuring a neat, professional finish every time.
Suitable for both trade upholsterers and confident DIY enthusiasts, these mesh top spring units are a straightforward way to restore bounce and support to tired seating. Simply drop them into the seat frame and secure for an instantly refreshed foundation.
