Our COTTONFELT Needled is a high-quality, natural cotton felt wadding that’s a firm favourite with upholsterers and soft furnishing professionals across the UK. Available in a generous 67cm width and weighing in at 750gsm, this robust needled felt delivers excellent padding, support, and a smooth, even finish beneath your top fabrics. Each purchase gives you a full 15-metre roll, making it ideal for trade use or larger projects where consistent quality throughout is essential.
Needled cotton felt is the go-to choice for traditional and contemporary upholstery work alike. It’s commonly used as a top layer over foam or spring units to add comfort, smooth out any unevenness, and help your covering fabric lie perfectly flat without bunching or shifting. The natural cotton fibres also offer good breathability, making it a popular choice for seating and furniture that sees regular use.
At 750gsm, this is a reassuringly substantial felt that holds its shape well over time, reducing the need for frequent re-padding. Whether you’re restoring a classic armchair, working on a drop-in seat pad, or tackling a full suite reupholster, this cottonfelt needled wadding gives you a reliable, professional result every time. Suitable for both trade professionals and confident DIY upholsterers.
