A hand plier tool for setting and closing size 500 eyelets neatly in fabric, leather, canvas and soft furnishings.
The Closing Dies/Punch Plier (500) is a specialist hand tool designed to set and close eyelets quickly, cleanly and securely. Compatible with size 500 eyelets, this plier-style tool applies even, controlled pressure to fold and fasten the eyelet barrel neatly through fabric, canvas, leather and other upholstery materials — giving you a professional finish every time without the need for a mallet or setting block.
Ideal for both trade upholsterers and enthusiastic DIYers, this punch plier makes light work of fitting eyelets to curtains, blinds, soft furnishings, bags, banners and more. The plier mechanism offers excellent control and repeatability, making it a great choice when you need to fit multiple eyelets consistently and efficiently. Sold individually, it’s a handy and affordable addition to any workroom or toolkit.
At Glover Bros, we stock a full range of eyelets and setting tools to suit every project. If you’re unsure which size eyelet or tool is right for your job, our friendly team is always happy to help — just get in touch.
