Our 8lb Chipfoam in 25mm (1″) thickness is a versatile and hardwearing reconstituted foam, ideal for a wide range of upholstery and soft furnishing projects. Made from bonded foam particles compressed together, chipfoam offers a firm, supportive feel that makes it a popular choice for seat bases, cushion interiors, and padding applications where a little extra structure is needed.
Chipfoam is particularly well suited for use beneath top layers of softer foam or fibre, helping to add depth and support to dining chairs, sofas, ottomans, and headboards. It’s a firm favourite with upholstery professionals for its reliability and cost-effectiveness, but it’s equally easy for home crafters and DIY enthusiasts to work with. Deliveries within our van delivery area with a value of over £40 (net) are carried free of charge. Below that level we make a token charge of £7.50 (net). If you miss your van delivery day and you want it sent by carrier, the charge is £14.95 (net).
Deliveries outside our van delivery area with a value of over £160 (net) are sent free of charge using a Next Day service. For orders below that level we charge what the carrier charges us which at present is £14.95 (net) for up to 20 kg in England, Wales and most of Scotland. (For Grampians, Highlands and off-shore islands please ask us to quote). We use first class post for small items and charge for the stamp and the jiffy bag.
