This 6lb Chipfoam in a generous 102mm (4″) thickness is a reliable, hardwearing foam ideal for a wide range of upholstery and soft furnishing projects. Made from reconstituted foam offcuts bonded together, chipfoam offers a firm, supportive feel that makes it a popular choice for seat bases, backs, and cushioning applications where durability and density are key. It’s a cost-effective option that doesn’t compromise on performance.
Sold as a sheet and available to order, this product is perfect for trade upholsterers and DIY enthusiasts alike. Whether you’re reupholstering dining chairs, sofas, or working on a bespoke furniture project, the 4″ depth provides excellent support and longevity. Chipfoam is also commonly used as a base layer beneath softer top foams to add structure and extend the life of your finished piece.

Deliveries within our van delivery area with a value of over £40 (net) are carried free of charge. Below that level we make a token charge of £7.50 (net). If you miss your van delivery day and you want it sent by carrier, the charge is £14.95 (net).
Deliveries outside our van delivery area with a value of over £160 (net) are sent free of charge using a Next Day service. For orders below that level we charge what the carrier charges us which at present is £14.95 (net) for up to 20 kg in England, Wales and most of Scotland. (For Grampians, Highlands and off-shore islands please ask us to quote). We use first class post for small items and charge for the stamp and the jiffy bag.
