Sold As: roll (approx 100m)
This 127mm (5″) medium sew-in buckram is a reliable, sturdy interlining fabric widely used in curtain and soft furnishing workrooms. Buckram is traditionally used to add structure, stiffness and body to curtain headings, pelmets, tie-backs and other decorative elements, helping them hold their shape beautifully over time. This medium-weight version strikes the perfect balance between flexibility and firmness, making it a versatile choice for a wide range of projects.
Sew-in buckram is stitched directly into the heading of a curtain rather than being ironed on, giving a more durable and long-lasting finish that stands up well to regular use and cleaning. It’s a favourite among professional curtain makers and upholsterers for the crisp, tailored results it delivers. Whether you’re creating pinch pleat headings, cartridge pleats or structured pelmets, this buckram provides the support you need.
Sold as a generous roll of approximately 100 metres, this is ideal for trade workrooms and busy soft furnishing professionals who need a dependable supply to hand. Retail customers tackling larger projects will also find the roll format great value. Supplied under product code BUCK/MED/127, this is a staple workroom essential you’ll reach for again and again.
