Who we are
Glover Bros has been supplying upholsterers and soft furnishers since 1899 and now serves over 2,000 customers throughout the UK and beyond. Most are re-upholstery and soft furnishing businesses but we also sell to small manufacturers, curtain fitters and designers, retail shops, cabinet makers and associated trades.

Colleges and teachers training the next generation of craftsmen and women form an important element of our customer base. We do not sell direct to students. For a list of retail distributors click here.

What we sell
We sell mainly bread and butter items such as fillings, foam, cloths, curtain accessories, workroom sundries, tools and equipment. Our range includes some 2,000 products.

We also offer a small range of top covers including leather, vinyl, marine vinyl, faux leather, faux suede and a new collection of washable F/R crushed velvet. To find what you want, please refer to side menu or use the search facility at the top of each page.

Where
Situated near Taunton we deliver weekly by our own vans throughout the South West. For van delivery area click here.

For our many customers throughout the rest of mainland UK we offer a next day carrier service. All orders received by 2.0pm are despatched the same day.

Offshore we deal with businesses in Orkney, Sark, Belfast and the Scilly Isles. And in Continental Europe we serve a small but growing band of customers, several of whom have moved overseas but continue to buy their supplies from us.

How
Most orders are placed by telephone or fax. We do not sell through this website.

We take great pride in our service, often described by customers as "second to none" . What makes it so is:

• We are able to meet 98% of orders from stock without keeping you waiting.
• If we do run out we ring you and tell you so you have the chance to look elsewhere if you need it urgently.
• If something you buy is not what you want we take it back (as long as it is in its original state).
• If you want something we don't sell we do all we can to get it for you.
• We care passionately about whether you are getting the goods you need on time and in good condition.
